Fundamental analysis feels like the missing piece to my trading. Too many beautiful setups have reversed on me because I ignored the fundamentals. My USD/JPY sell immediately reversed when the US reached a trade deal with China a few months ago. My EUR/USD sell reversed when Ukraine initially agreed to the core terms of a peace deal a few weeks ago. I trade support & resistance level breakouts, higher time frame trend channels, and fundamentals now. If the dollar strength index chart, plus fundamentals for the session or day, start to lean in the complete opposite direction of your setup's bias, WATCH IT!
