How the data and rankings work
WhopReviews combines public Whop marketplace data with transparent mathematical scores. This page states what is measured, what is automated, and what the data cannot prove.

Source data
The pipeline collects public listing fields from Whop: product and community names, descriptions, images, prices, feature lists, rating averages, review counts, member counts, and review samples. Existing records are due for refresh after 28 days; the scheduled run starts on the first day of each month.
A review displayed here was published on Whop. WhopReviews does not independently authenticate the reviewer, purchase, or statement. A successful source check marks a listing active; a listing missed by the source process can be marked inactive and removed from search-engine sitemaps.
Community scores
Bayesian score
A confidence-adjusted rating that pulls small samples toward the marketplace-wide average.

Combines rating confidence with log-scaled review volume, member count, and WhopReviews upvotes.

A size-and-engagement score. It does not currently measure time-series growth, so it should not be interpreted as recent momentum.

New discoveries must have at least 20 reviews and a 3.0 rating before entering the directory. Buyer guides rank active communities by the best-overall score, prefer ratings of 4.0 or higher, and show up to ten results.
The XML sitemap is intentionally stricter than the browseable directory. A product or community detail page is advertised to Google only when it is active, has at least 500 reviews, and has a rating of at least 4.0. Communities must also have a description and a current product. This smaller set is a search-quality policy, not a claim that other listings are unsafe.
Automated summaries
Labelled summaries are generated from stored listing fields and review themes. Scheduled generation is limited to products refreshed in that run, and an existing summary is not refreshed more often than every 90 days.
The generator is instructed to write in neutral third person and not claim testing, expertise, verification, or first-hand use. These summaries are automated and are not individually fact-checked before publication. Current price, availability, refund terms, and seller claims should be confirmed on Whop.
Commercial relationship
WhopReviews may earn a commission from outbound affiliate links. Commission eligibility is not used in any score. Product creators cannot buy a rating or manually override the ranking formulas.
Known limitations
- - Review and member totals can be delayed between source refreshes.
- - Marketplace ratings describe sentiment; they do not validate performance or earnings claims.
- - On-site upvotes are an engagement signal and can be less reliable than a large source-review sample.
- - Trading and betting products involve financial risk; no ranking predicts future results.
