★Extremely disappointing experience with Whop as a merchant. I submitted all requested business verification documents, invoices, proof of fulfillment, and additional information. My dashboard later displayed: "Your information request has been approved. You can now withdraw your funds as normal." Despite that, my account remained suspended, and I was repeatedly given generic responses without a clear explanation. My reserve period has now ended, and Whop has confirmed that my account has: $2,764.42 available $0.00 in reserve $0.00 pending Yet my funds remain inaccessible because of an internal "payments approval status" that support cannot explain. Another major concern is Whop's Early Dispute Alert system. I configured my account to automatically refund only transactions below $250. However, Whop automatically refunded transactions ranging from $771.98 to $2,449 without my authorization, even though those amounts were far above my configured threshold. One example was a $2,250 transaction that had been successfully completed for approximately six weeks before Whop automatically refunded it after an Early Dispute Alert. The transaction was processed using 3D Secure authentication, and Whop even charged me a 3D Secure fee, yet the payment was still automatically refunded. Throughout this process, I repeatedly asked Whop to: Explain why my configured refund threshold was ignored. Explain the legal or contractual basis for continuing to withhold my available funds. Clarify why my funds remain blocked even though the reserve period has ended. Unfortunately, I have not received clear answers. Support has repeatedly stated that they cannot see the reason and that another team is responsible for the decision. To make matters worse, it has now been more than three weeks since I emailed the review/support team with detailed documentation and evidence, and I have not received any response whatsoever. For a company handling merchants' funds, this level of communication is extremely disappointing. I understand that payment platforms must manage risk and comply with their policies. However, merchants also deserve transparency, consistent application of account settings, timely communication, and a clear explanation when funds are withheld. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Whop to businesses that depend on reliable payment processing and responsive merchant support.
